There’s a lot of information about the worldwide outbreak of Coronavirus – and it can be a bit of an ‘overload’ at times. Our priority is to keep everyone safe – young people, placement businesses, funding & delivery partners -and our staff – as well as everyone’s family, friends and communities.

We will keep this page up to date with places to go for the most recent information – as well as links so you can find out more if you’re finding it overwhelming, or are worried. Here are some links for you:

Young Minds – what to do if you’re anxious about coronavirus

SeeMe Scotland – there if you want to talk

Young Scot – general information

The latest official information can be found on these two websites:

UK Government – information and what you need to do

NHS – health information and advice

The most important thing is to take the simple steps you can to help prevent you from catching COVID-19 and spreading it to others.

COVID_19 – It’s in your hands!

  • Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water, or an alcohol based solution
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Practice social distancing. Reduce social activity and, if you really need to meet someone, maintain a 2 metre distance between the two of you
  • If you feel unwell or have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, call for medical attention and follow doctor’s instructions
  • Follow the advice given by your local public health authority – and for our young people their Project Coordinator – on how to protect yourself and others
  • If you have found any other good links that you think might be helpful to other people, please email them to us and we can add them to the website as appropriate or post the links on our social media pages.
