We were delighted this week when one of our trainees, Dean McBain, featured in Aberdeen Football Club’s matchday programme. After his six-month placement with the Club, Dean secured a full time job, due to his dedication, hard work and great attitude.
Kirstie Golightly, Dean’s WorkingRite Project Co-ordinator, said “Dean’s a fantastic young man – always happy, great to work with and mature beyond his years”. She’s really proud of what he’s achieved on his placement, especially because he’s applied what he’s learned to his own community and set up a football team for youngsters in his area.
WorkingRite would like to wish Dean the very best in his new role and say thanks to everyone at AFC in the Community for supporting him so well during his placement. Particular thanks to Steven Sweeney who really took Dean under his wing and was a great role model – this is what the WorkingRite scheme is all about!
