“I feel privileged to work for an organisation, in a job, that allows me to have a positive impact on young peoples’ lives. It is extremely rewarding to be able to help young people set goals and begin to achieve their dreams. I am constantly inspired by the people I meet and businesses we work with that feel the same”
The Langstane project primarily supports 16-24 year olds living in Langstane or partner housing associations across the area. It is designed to help young people not in employment, education or training – who have so far found it difficult to get their foot in the door of employment.
Our new Street Soccer project supports young people from across the city who are participating in the Street Soccer programme and are ready to take the next step and move onto our mentored work placement programme – and onto a pathway towards a working future.
Dylan enrolled on the WorkingRite programme in February 2017 and began a work placement with Thistle Windows and Conservatories Ltd. In October 2017 he secured a job with the warehouse team.
