Kiltwalk: 500 miles challenge

Would you walk 500 miles – so our young people can walk 500 more?

Become one of the 500 mile challengers and take part in one of the four Kiltwalks taking place across Scotland to raise vital funds for WorkingRite and support young people in your community.

In the last four years, ten people have walked a combined total of 221 Kiltwalk miles. This year we’re inviting you to pick the distance that suits you – wander for 6 miles, stroll for 13 or stride for 26 – and help your city get to 500 miles first!

The Kiltwalks take place in Aberdeen (7 June), Dundee (16 August) and Edinburgh (13 September) – visit The Kiltwalk to register and for more information. This year Sir Tom Hunter is increasing his support of the event meaning an additional 50% will be added to your fundraising total.

The date for the Glasgow Kiltwalk (originally planned for 26 April) will be announced in due course – but all fundraising will be held over.

People all over Scotland are inspiring young people to a positive working future. Whoever you walk with – however long you walk – whatever you raise – you are helping them to take those vital steps. All we need is for you to put yourself in their shoes for a day – and face the challenge!
