GIVE WHAT YOU CAN – THERE ARE LOTS OF WAYS TO HELP

Around 300 young people are supported through the programme every year. That costs £1.3m annually, and whilst we have secure some funding for our work from local authorities and the Scottish Government, each year we need to raise over 40% from voluntary contributions, grants, fundraising and gifts in wills. This year that equates to £6,076 every week being gifted by friends and supporters who believe in what we do.

£18 allows a young person to have a 1:1 session with their Project Coordinator to overcome barriers and set goals
£39 pays for training course work and materials for an accredited learning certificate
£64 provides essential PPE for a young person to complete their placement safely and professionally
£959 cover the weekly travel and allowances for one young person to complete the full programme (22 weeks on average)

Every penny counts. Your help will ensure that almost 300 young people can take part in our programme this year – giving them the chance to really make something of themselves – when others may have given up on them.

Regular gift – Being able to plan ahead is vital in order for us to develop our services and support more young people in need of a little help and inspiration. Regular contributions mean we know how much is pledged each month and can make considered decisions about new programmes in the knowledge that we can afford to do so.

Making your regular gift through the Gift Aid scheme is the most efficient way of supporting WorkingRite. You can set up your regular giving online.

One-off donation – Many people support us by contributing to our annual running costs by making a general donation. Without being able to pay for these, we simply couldn’t support our programmes. You can do this securely online.

Your donation will help with the daily running costs of supporting young people across Scotland.

Give as you shop
You can even help us to raise FREE funds when you shop online. Everytime you shop, you’ll raise a donation for us and it won’t cost you a penny extra!

EasyFundraising: Simply register your support with easyfundraising – and get shopping!

There’s lots of other ways you can help too – participating in sponsored events, taking a collection can for your shop or business, nominating WorkingRite on as your company charity of the year; community events and providing grants from trust & foundations -– the list is endless.

We are a small fundraising team, but please email us if you have any ideas or questions.
